Philosophy
At Pashtouki, we believe in stories that travel. Not just from one place to another, but from heart to heart, across borders, languages, and struggles. Our exhibition is more than postcards – it’s a conversation with the past and the future, with resilience in every corner. Each card, a whisper from someone who’s walked through the fire, but still believes in the dawn.
We aren’t here to tell you what’s impossible. We’re here to show you that, even in the darkest days, hope can be folded up and sent through the mail. Strength. Courage. Optimism. They’re in the ink, in the creases, in the space between the words.
Pashtouki is an invitation. Pause. Reflect. Carry these stories forward, spark empathy, and keep the conversation going.

About project
Welcome to Pashtouki.com, a project created by me, Mikalai. In my native language “pashtouki” means postcards. This website is about volunteering at the border and helping people in difficult times and featuring cards sent by refugees who have faced unimaginable hardships. Each postcard represents hope amidst the turmoil caused by having to leave their homeland.
I created Pashtouki to give voice to these personal stories and to remind the world of the mutual support and optimism that endure even in the darkest times. Through these postcards, I hope to inspire compassion, solidarity, and a sense of empathy. Thank you for dedicating some of your time to Pashtouki!
